FAQ
How long does it take to receive our images?
Galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session. During peak seasons, delivery may extend slightly, but I always communicate clearly. Your gallery will be delivered online in a beautifully organized format for easy downloading and sharing.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a style guide to help coordinate outfits that photograph beautifully along the Emerald Coast. I recommend soft neutrals, muted tones, and light fabrics that move naturally in the coastal breeze. I’m always happy to review outfit options if you’d like reassurance before your session.
How do we choose the right beach location?
I provide location recommendations based on lighting, accessibility, and the look you’re hoping to achieve. Whether you’re staying in Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, or Pensacola, I’ll guide you to a spot that works beautifully for your family.
When is the best time for beach photos?
Sunrise and sunset provide the softest, most flattering light. However, beautiful images can absolutely be created during brighter daytime hours as well. I’ll help you choose a time that fits your schedule and the look you prefer.
Is 20–30 minutes really enough time?
Yes — absolutely.
My sessions are designed to be efficient without ever feeling rushed. I know exactly what works, how to position families quickly, and how to guide natural interaction so we maximize every minute. Because of this, we’re able to capture full family portraits, individual children, parent moments, and candid interaction within the time specified.
Sessions feel laid-back and relaxed, but they are intentionally directed so you receive a complete and beautiful gallery.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s completely normal — and expected.
I work quickly, keep things moving, and use prompts that encourage natural interaction rather than stiff posing. Some of the most loved images come from in-between moments. You don’t need perfectly behaved children to get beautiful photos!
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Florida weather can change quickly, especially along the Gulf. If inclement weather makes your session unsafe or impossible to photograph in, we will adjust timing or reschedule when possible.
Overcast skies do not require rescheduling, as they often create soft, beautiful light. Pop-up storms are typically brief and can often be worked around.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Because your date and time are reserved specifically for you, payments are non-refundable. However, I understand that emergencies can happen, especially for traveling families.
In cases of true emergencies that prevent you from attending your scheduled session, partial accommodations may be considered at my discretion. Weather-related rescheduling is handled separately and does not fall under cancellation.
What is required to book?
Full payment is required to reserve your session date. Once payment is received, your session is confirmed and preparation details will be sent to you.
